Due to our Overseas show commitments, Endurance training and the addition of Lane to our family, we will no longer be taking outside horses for Halter Training, Breaking-In or Conditioning. Wayne will however be running On-Farm Training Days once a month on a Sunday morning for those interested in lessons with their own horses. We feel this would benefit a wide variety of owners wishing to show there horses themselves in both Open and Amateur competition. Please contact us for upcoming dates.

'Happy New Year'. We are very excited at Charaway Arabians, with the arrival of 'True Vision's' first foals. First born was a lovely colt out of Charaway Kasmeeka owned by Andrea and Craig Dobson of Kununurra, Western Australia. The even bigger surprise is this little fellow named 'True North' is BLACK. Congratulations to Craig & Andy.
On Christmas Eve, Charaway Martika presented us with the most exquisite bay filly. We are absolutely wrapped with this little girl and in honour of the date and her grand-dam we have named her 'Charaway True Madonna'. True Vision has proved his worth to us in the breeding barn and continually wows visitors that come to see him. In fact, recent visitors from Sydney to look at El Shaklan related stock were so impressed they booked breeding immediately. In their words 'we have never liked or been interested in Straight Egyptian horses before - but True Vision has changed that!'. The 2008 season is booking out fast, and we have a number of our mares bred to him, including Malakeh, Rothbury Park Seduction & Chaswyck Panache.

November 2007
Our first two foals for the year have us wrapped. Rothbury Park Seduction presented us with a very showy bay colt sired by Aivu. With the same flair and strength as his sire, and the most amazing neck 'Birru Adonnis' is sure to be a ribbon winner.
Our straight Egyptian mare Eastwinds Elluscion gave a stunning filly sired by Baarafic (US). 'Charaway Baazannah' is a very leggy, snorty filly and will be retained to continue with our SE breeding program. Elle has been rebred to Baarafic for a repeat of this great cross.

October 2007
Our Princess doing well' After quite a scare and an emergency caesarean in the Show Arena, D'Amors Silver Sasha has fully recovered and is back in the show team for the 2008 shows. Our thanks go to Nathan, Anne and Tory at Anstead Veterinary Clinic for their professionalism and care to Sasha (and us) during the operation and recovery period.
EI has hit us along with most of SE Queensland. Unfortunately we have had casualties along with many other farms. Wayne's foundation mare 'Charaway Madonna' has passed away and will be sorely missed. Although she only left us two offspring, she was a gem to have on the farm and always the first to be caught for 'pony rides' for visitors. RIP Madonna. Only 2 weeks after we lost Madonna, we suffered another loss - D'Amors Shakari-Khan was found in severe pain early one morning and was euthanised. She leaves us with her wonderful daughters, D'Amors Silver Sasha and Charaway Truly Precious.
