Aivu commenced his saddle career in the ring at 9 years of age. At only his second show under saddle, he was awarded Reserve Champion Novice Purebred Under Saddle at the Top of the Range Championships, and in 2001 saw him awarded Queensland Arabian Horse of the Year Champion Stallion and Smartest on Parade. He consistently placed in Arabian Under Saddle, Working Stock horse, Costume.
Aivu's progeny are the backbone of Charaway Arabians. The mare Charaway Martika (x Charaway Madonna) has won Championships as both a filly and a mature mare, and how her foals, such as Charaway Hott Fudge (x Kasmon) and Charaway Marietta are winning champions of their own.
The Aivu geldings Charaway Chaivu, Birru Avishaah are consistently proving their worth with low heart rates and completions at many Endurance rides.
